I don’t blame the President for not reading his briefs…I wouldn’t read Trump’s briefs either…LOL. LOL, LOL
Please do, Mr. President. Please send federal troops into Seattle with congressional Republican support. Our state governments need a reminder that the Federal government has too much power and should be trimmed back.
You state governors and state citizens could use a lesson that your federal representatives are too independent of your state’s authority.
The President sees the looting and mob actions.
The Media see the abuse of the innocent by the Authorities.
The Democrats see the outcome of rich versus poor politics.
The Republicans see the outcome of poor choices made by individuals.
The Communists see an opportunity to de-stabilize Americans from their government.
The Fascists see an opportunity to demonstrate the Force of Law.
The Antifa see an opportunity to rebel against Authority.
Law Enforcement sees civil disobedience.
The emotionally sensitive see the pain of others.
The emotionally insensitive see the weakness of others.
And what about you? What do you see?
Here are 6 examples of Insurrections.
Definition of Insurrection:: an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government
There are weapons and political aims and people are killed. They are not protests with anarchists. They are not looters or flash mobs.
Videos of looters carrying a vacuum cleaner out of Target is not an insurrection. It is an opportunity crime.
The only thing this President wants to do is to find a bigger stick than other people so he can threaten and bully anyone in opposition to him.
He looks for the worst and then uses that to humiliate and defame. He continues to ARROGANTLY debase others.
We should worry this President will suspend elections for made-up reasons and assert himself as president with emergency powers until the made-up reason no longer exists. If his big business donor base abandons him and he is facing his own humiliation, he may say “try and stop me”.
Who will stop President Trump? Mitch McConnell? Not likely. Nancy Pelosi? That’s a stretch. The military? Maybe, but not likely.
We have not seen the likes of a destroyer like President Trump since Napoleon.
This President could bring Civil War back to America.
What are you going to do when he comes for you?
“Trump spoke to governors on a video teleconference with law enforcement and national security officials, telling the local leaders they “have to get much tougher” amid nationwide protests and criticizing their responses.
“Most of you are weak,” Trump said. “You have to arrest people.”
So says the man who went into the bunker this past weekend because of protesters at the White House.
So says the man who praised the professional response of his Secret Service men on the White House lawn who arrested six people and yet the protests continue at the White House.
So says the bully to the rational and reasonable among us.
So says the man who is consistently wrong on everything.
Perhaps his message should be a bit more specific? Like protect the innocent, protect property, arrest rioters and looters?
Nah, just be tougher…on everyone…
Has any other President been as wrong as President Trump?
President Trump tweets that George Floyd will not have died in vain.
What the hell does that mean? Was George Floyd on some secret mission to do good and that mission was thwarted by the evil policeman? No, he went to the store to buy something.
So now we have a President of America with over 34 million people out of work, who authorized trillions of dollars to “jump start the economy”, and has thirty states in some level of civil disobedience.
Like American Idol judges, this President just goes with his gut.
Probably because he doesn’t know what to do nor how to figure it out.
From the Washington Post:
“Never in the 1,227 days of Trump’s presidency has the nation seemed to cry out for leadership as it did Sunday, yet Trump made no attempt to provide it.
“That was by design. Trump and some of his advisers calculated that he should not speak to the nation because he had nothing new to say and had no tangible policy or action to announce yet, according to a senior administration official. Evidently not feeling an urgent motivation Sunday to try to bring people together, he stayed silent.
“Trump let his tweets speak for themselves. One attacked the Democratic mayor of Minneapolis; another announced that his administration would designate the antifa movement a terrorist organization; a third accused the media of fomenting hatred and anarchy; and in yet another, he praised himself for the deployment of the National Guard and denigrated former vice president Joe Biden.”
It’s patina tempered to a lustrous glow by the President of the United States, Acid Media has become mainstream. First it was media gossip, then it was bullying, then it was propaganda, and now it has become Acid Media.
Throw metaphorical Acid in the face of anyone and get away with it.
President Trump certainly brought the swamp to the White House with his Acid Tweets. It is now common place to throw acid at anyone without fear of retribution.
And yet when the President throws his Acid and then is called out for it, President Trump uses the power of the Presidency to punish.
This IS the demagogue we feared would one day be in the White House.
HE has arrived and his taint will stink for a decade.
Along with him, are those who spend their days spraying acid on the innocent as they take aim at the face of their victim.
President Trump wished everyone a HAPPY Memorial Day.
You can’t make this stuff up. This President is simply disconnected from the real world. HAPPY? Mr President? HAPPY Memorial Day?
Oh, well. He is one of us even if he isn’t the best example of one of us.
In a second note of the President’s remarks, Mr. President is DEMANDING to know if North Carolina will allow the Republican National Convention take place in North Carolina in August.
I say YES! HAPPY to do it! Keep everything closed except hotels and restaurants within 1 mile of the Convention Center and just let ‘er’ rip!
Caution all attendees to practice social distancing and wear a mask. Keep all the other stuff closed.
And make this announcement: “The City of Charlotte North Carolina wishes to thank the President of the United States for his support of the Republican National Convention and welcomes all to attend. The hotels and restaurants will be open only to the attendees of the RNC event. The City of Charlotte assumes no responsibility for any pandemic outcome and recognizes that Republican leadership will choose how to protect themselves during the pandemic.”
Perhaps a little snigger at the end is also appropriate.
In 2015, Donald Trump announced he was going to Make America Great Again. In his speech at Trump Tower, The Donald outlined his plan. Here it is:
Below is Donald Trump’s formula — 19 points in all — to make America great again, as culled from his Tuesday remarks.
- Sell junk to Saudi Arabia, since the goods we send them are blown up anyway;
- Repeal Obamacare “and replace it with something that benefits everybody”;
- “Turn off that spigot” of sending money to China (in the form of debt payments) by taxing them “until they behave properly”;
- Renegotiate our foreign trade deals;
- Call up the head of the Ford Motor Company and tell them they are going to be taxed at 35 percent for every car coming from Mexico until they decide to nix their plant in Mexico City;
- End President Barack Obama’s executive actions on immigration;
- End border crossings from Mexico because some of those border-crossers are “rapists”;
- To do that, build a “great, great wall” on the U.S.-Mexico border;
- Have Mexico pay for that wall;
- Don’t appoint a secretary of state who rides bikes and breaks his leg;
- Avoid riding bikes himself;
- Work hard on the Islamic State problem;
- Stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons;
- Find the General Patton or General MacArthur from within the U.S. armed forces to “make it really work” in the Middle East;
- Rebuild the country’s infrastructure — “nobody can do that like me”;
- Create jobs — “I will be the greatest jobs president that God ever created”;
- Save Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security “without cuts”;
- Protect the Second Amendment;
- Take the brand of the United States “and make it great again.”
I conclude the MAGA Mission has failed. But let’s give this President his due. He did accomplish items # 4, 10, and 11 but I think it isn’t enough to compensate for the other items he failed to accomplish.
Perhaps his slogan in 202o should be MAMA.
Make America Mediocre Again.
He seems to be doing quite well at that.
It’s barely noteworthy. This President lies.
Today he implied that Joe Scarborough killed a 28-year-old intern. Which Republicans will condemn him for this false accusation? None.
Mitch McConnell is far too busy telling former President Obama to stop criticizing President Trump for his mistakes. You remember Majority Leader Mitch right? The one that saved President Trump from impeachment? Of course, you do. He is the one that prevented the Senate from hearing testimony from people who work for Trump. McConnell worships President Trump.
Watching President Trump fumble his way through these COVID press conferences is nauseating. Watching journalists treat the President of the United States with contempt is disgusting.
It makes you want a new Congress, a new President, and a new set of good behaviors. The two corporations that run the American government could use some free market politics right about now. Do you remember the idea behind free markets? If there are enough competitors in the market place, the quality will be high and the cost will be low. That is what Free Trade is all about…letting the buyer choose among several alternatives produces the highest quality and the lowest cost. Free Politics is about reducing the barriers that prevent a new political party from rising.
Maybe we should create Equal Opportunity policies for federal elections to encourage the advancement and development of political parties in America. Free Party Politics sounds like a winner to me.
