President Donald Trump is a Patriot

Maybe not the kind of Patriot that you or I am but a Patriot nonetheless.

President Trump sincerely believes in America and does not wish to destroy it. It’s shocking for me to say it because of how much I dislike the man.

There is much to dislike and even hate but I’ve seen n0thing that says he wishes to destroy the USA although he is doing it without intent.

Which brings us to the point that Donald Trump’s vision of America aligns with 47% of Americans. His followers. Does that scare you?

What do we know about President Trump and his view of America?

a) The America of 1950 through 2000 is changing into a new America for the 21st century and he doesn’t like it one bit. Or whit. Globalism is the enemy invading America and Prez Trump wants to stop the invasion of change. Foreign goods and services can be purchased throughout the US now. Even American global companies are using workers in China, Europe, Asia, and South America to extend the American Business Empire throughout the world. This is anathema to the US nationalists like Prez Trump. Like 47% of Americans who take great pride in the traditions of our country and the rule of America, the changes required to compete in Asia, Europe, Africa, and South America are appalling. American companies’ subservience to international laws and regulations strikes a tone of elitism, egalitarianism, and globalism. It challenges the vision of American Exceptionalism to its very roots. How can America be so great when other countries are able to emulate, and at times exceed, the present capacity and capability of America? America is being challenged in the skies, on the oceans, in the marketplace, and even in the hearts of its people. America is no longer a place in which other nationalities wish to belong. America is a place where other nationalities simply wish to live.

b) Regardless of Prez Trumps rapacious immoral behaviors as an aspiring mogul, President Trump believes in a nuclear family. He believes in it so much that he married three women in order to fulfill his vision of having someone to love. He knows he blew up the other two marriages but he is so thankful that his children live with him in the White House. He is so satisfied with the White House arrangement that he doesn’t want it to end.

c) President Trump is embarrassed and disgusted with people who have no backbone. If you show weakness, President Trump will break you down so he can humiliate you whenever he wants. If you show strength and are opposed to him, he will fight you until you surrender. He will never surrender himself although he may walk away. President Trump admires strong people who agree with him. It is his weakness and no one exploits it more than a bevy of White House beauties who know how to reach his tiny heart and make it thump-thump. Whenever President Trump makes a promise, it is made to the strong people who admire him and admire what he has become. The self-reliant people. The achievers. It is not made to the single mom with an IQ of 102 who makes bad choices. Trump celebrates achievement and not existence. He is unconcerned about people who try and fail. They are losers and worthy only of his contempt.

d) President Trump believes that only the best people should be allowed into America. It is an exclusive club. Not anyone can just show up and expect to live with the benefits of American culture. Immigrants must become Americans by proving their worth to contribute to its coffers and to the community and by carrying on America’s perspective of the world.

e) President Trump does not recognize that processes exist to winnow the wheat from the chaff. Automatic and self-perpetuating processes that divide people into the haves and have-nots and its up to only the best of the masses to live a blessed life. The others are fated to be losers. Lesser people need not apply for a seat at America’s table. The chronically ill, the lower classes, the inept, the unskilled, the mentally ill, the drug addicted. Prez Trump sees them as useless idiots and not worthy of his attention. He doesn’t care that it is in their DNA to fail at life. He thinks it is all a personal choice. He is wrong.

f) President Trump sees the BLM protests and doesn’t care that things like respect, dignity, safety is broken for some people and needs attention. He only sees the violence and the looting; he knows instinctively violence and looting doesn’t create the kind of self-reliant achievers he admires. He no more thinks of the life-oppressed citizen than he thinks about the air he breathes. They are simply there. The masses of people who were not granted good genes, good parents, and/or good health. He sees the violence of the oppressed, the depressed and the lonely as a threat to his kind of America. This is his way. Is it yours, too?

g) And 47% of Americans worry they may be attacked or controlled by the masses that President Trump doesn’t even care about. He stokes those coals to a bright flame of fear. “Fear This, Fear That ” Trump shouts and the self-reliant (who are barely hanging on by a thread) follow the President’s fear. Life is always on the edge for them. Their life, earned through abstinence, obedience, morality, and perseverance is always at risk from the behavior of the masses.

h) To President Trump, the Constitution is not America, nor is the government of the people. It isn’t the laws. To President Donald Trump, America is people like him. The ones who came before, the ones who are here now, and the ones who will come later. He enlists into his cause the ones who desire the fruits of self-reliance and achievement. They do truly believe that America is the Constitution and the government and ordinary people. Trump uses that. He pulls the Trump wool over their eyes in order to get their votes.

i) To President Trump, glorifying oneself is the American way. Gathering followers is the American way. Proving he can do what others cannot is the American way.

“Out of the crooked timber of humanity , no straight thing was ever made”-Immanuel Kant

But if you ask Trump, there’s never been a carpenter like himself in the history of the world.
